Teams are formed and are required to perform short dramatic scenes by playing different games that entertain and engage the audience . It develops our students' ability to think quickly and creatively and requires them to be able to work with others. There are opportunities to compete in internal and external competitions.
Two of our more significant productions include the Junior Production and the College Musical. These two events rotate each year, maximising opportunities for all students to be involved in two similar, yet different performance opportunities. The Junior Production provides an avenue for Year 7-9 students to build their confidence and presence on stage with maximum participation and engagement as the key learning intentions of the show. The College Musical Production is a highly anticipated community event that provides a platform for students to showcase their talents and passion in musical theatre across all areas including participation in the cast, backstage, costume and sets, orchestra, tech crew, hospitality and promotions.
