Mount St Benedict College is seeking applications for a
temporary Diverse Learning Assistant to join our College community until the
end of Term 4, 2026.
This part time role is 1 day per week.
- Fridays
only during school term time
- Hours
are 8.00 am – 4.00 pm
- Immediate
start preferred.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a
creative and innovative approach to Teaching and Learning.
Essential
- Current
Working with Children Check
- Previous
experience as a Learning Assistant/ Teachers Aide (School based experience
is highly regarded)
- Relevant
TAFE qualifications in school based support
Desirable
- Proven
ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team
- Experience
in supporting secondary school students with a range of needs
- Knowledge of NCCD processes

Assistant Accountant

The College is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the College on a temporary basis for Term 3 only to cover a period of leave. The Assistant Accountant is responsible for the effective administration of the College’s accounts payable, fixed asset and general ledger processes.
Essential
·
Appropriate
knowledge of generally accepted accounting concepts and principals including
accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers;
·
General
administration experience and knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and office
administration, including the ability to operate computerised accounting,
spreadsheet and word processing programs and email at a highly proficient
level;
·
Sound
written and verbal communication skills and ability;
·
Effective
time management and organisational skills;
·
Attention
to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy in preparing and
entering financial information;
·
Current
Working with Children Check
Desirable
·
Certificate
or Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business administration;
·
Knowledge
and experience in educational or not-for-profit entities will be an advantage;
·
2-3
years’ experience in a similar role

Fitness Centre Supervisor/ Instructor

Mount St Benedict College, Pennant Hills is a
Catholic girls’ high school in the Good Samaritan tradition. We offer a
holistic education based on the Benedictine values of Pax, Hospitality,
and Stewardship.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Fitness Centre Supervisor / Instructor to join our Co-Curricular team on a casual basis.
This role is vital in supporting our commitment to lifelong healthy habits and
providing a safe, encouraging environment for students of all athletic
abilities.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic staff member to supervise
our on-site Fitness Centre during before and/or after-school sessions
(approximately 2-hour shifts).
The student population utilising the gym is diverse, ranging
from beginners who are new to a fitness environment to talented representative
athletes following specific strength and conditioning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety
& Supervision: Maintain a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring
all equipment is used correctly and the space remains tidy.
- Program
Development: Design and implement termly fitness programs tailored to
students who require guidance and individual goals.
- Technical
Coaching: Actively monitor students to correct form and technique,
preventing injury and optimizing performance.
- Mentorship:
Provide encouragement and professional advice to foster a love for
physical activity and confidence in a gym setting.
About You
You are a passionate fitness professional who enjoys working
with young people and understands the importance of promoting a healthy
lifestyle.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications:
Must hold a current Level 1 Sports and Conditioning Accreditation
OR a Certificate III or IV in Fitness, and a current first aid
certificate.
- Experience:
Demonstrated ability to instruct various exercises and adapt coaching
styles for different skill levels.
- Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and school
staff.
- Values:
A commitment to supporting the mission and Benedictine values of the
College.
