Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Good Samaritan Education with a community of ten schools across Australia. The College offers holistic Catholic education based on Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition and values including Pax, Hospitality and Stewardship.

The College is looking for teachers to join our casual teaching team. The successful applicants will be required to provide relief for teachers at short notice and for longer term blocks. We require casual teachers experienced in the following subject areas: English, HSIE, Religious Education, Drama or Visual Art.

Essential

  • Relevant teaching qualifications
  • NESA Registration
  • Flexibility

  • Current Working with Children Check

Desirable

  • An understanding of Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team
  • Current First Aid Certificate

HSIE Teacher (Commerce/ Geography)

     We are currently looking for a temporary full time HSIE teacher who is experienced teaching Commerce and Geography (Year 7-10) to join our school community. This role has an immediate start to the end of Term 2, 2026.

Learning Data Officer

  • Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Good Samaritan Education with a community of ten schools across Australia. The College offers holistic Catholic education based on Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition and values including Pax, Hospitality and Stewardship. 

     We are currently looking for a part time temporary Learning Data Officer for the 2026 school year.  This role will be 1 day per week (0.2 FTE). The Learning Data Officer is primarily responsible for maintaining the integrity of academic data systems relating to student performance as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure reliable and accessible data.

     This school based role is open to all applications, however previous teaching experience is preferred.

  • Experienced in using school based data systems 
  •  Demonstrated organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Working with Children check

Mathematics Teacher

We are currently looking for 2 Mathematics teachers to join our school community. The successful applicant will demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to Teaching and Learning.

- Temporary, Full time Maths team for 1 year, commencing Term 3, 2026 

- Temporary, Full time Maths teacher for Term 3, 2026 only.
