The Careers Advisor works primarily with senior students providing career and course information.

This information assists the girls in making informed career choices concerning university study, vocational education and training, work options and the pathway between these.

The careers service at Mount St Benedict College includes:

  • Opportunity for students to complete a career guidance computer program that leads the students through a systematic decision making process
  • Assistance with subject selection when considering possible career and course options
  • Individual career interviews for senior students to assist with the preparation  of the transition from school to post school options
  • Provision of up to date information from tertiary providers and industry sectors
  • Optional work experience program for students in Years 10 - 12
  • Communication with parent community regarding career news and events
  • Maintenance of the extensive careers intranet site and publications available in the careers section of the IRC.
