Two MSB students represent NSW in Archery and Badminton with podium finishes.

Congratulations to Laura Trezise, Year 9, who competed in the National Youth Archery Championships at Penrith during the term break winning two Gold medals. Shooting in the Female, Intermediate, Recurve (bow) Division, she contested four events (Field, Target, Match Play and Clout) performing well in all and winning Gold in the 125 metre Clout (ground target) event. She was also a member of the Gold medal winning NSW team in the interstate competition. Laura is a member of the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Club and is coached by former world junior champion, Ricci Cheah.

Congratulations to Celina Chen, Year 10, who competed at the Australian Under 17 Badminton Championship held in Victoria during the recent term break. Celina immensely enjoyed her time representing NSW. Victoria came first followed by New Zealand and NSW ranked third in the team event. In the individual event Celina played her best ever ranking top 16 in the state for Womens Single.
